When the download is complete, you will see a Quicktime video clip, originally shot on 8mm movie film, taken from lead aircraft during a formation rejoin after takeoff for a ground attack training mission. #2 aircraft is in the final stages of the rejoin to the left wing and is stabilizing in route position awaiting the rejoin of all members of the flight. #3 aircraft can be seen crossing under the flight moving to route position on the outside of the turn. Each wingman will check over the other aircraft in the flight to be sure no munition has fallen off during takeoff and departure, and there are no mechanical problems. The flight will then be directed by lead, to move to tactical formation as briefed.Note: Clip size 900 kb.
