Throughout the week, the youngsters who attended, learned about various aspects of history, patriotism and preservation, through crafts and projects. This year, there was a special segment on Aviation, and another on the Wildlife all around us.

Each month at Hangar 25 Air Museum, we honor a military veteran. The honoree is invited to speak on any aspect of his or her military service. The public is invited to attend, and refreshments are served.

An annual event sponsored by the EAA and hosted by Hangar 25 Air Museum, Young Eagles 2009 was a great success with over 30 youngsters having a chance to "slip the surly bonds of earth". Click to visit the EAA Chapter 123 Young Eagles Album.
